A vision in green, this Fakenham kitchen is quite simply showstopping. From the subtle palette of emerald hues to the flawless modern cabinetry, every detail works together in perfect harmony. First and foremost, our clients were keen to utilise the narrow space. An island with a built-in dining table offered the perfect solution. The island provides plenty of practical storage and worktop space. Adjoining the island, the dining area commands a lovely view of our client’s courtyard garden while cleverly making the most of the available room.
The striking handleless cabinetry might initially seem at odds with its setting. However, the classic green colour scheme, oak accents and antique brass detailing offer a thoughtful reference to the charming grade II listed cottage. Our design represents the perfect balance between practicality, modernity and timeless charm. But let’s not forget our client’s favourite feature, the fabulous built-in cocktail bar!

The stunning antique bronze splashback is key to the success of this interior. It beautifully reflects our client’s immaculate garden while making the narrow room feel spacious and airy.

"We were building an extension at the back of our cottage, which provided a long but narrow space. We needed help with the layout and design of our new kitchen. We met Adam at Mulberry’s Norwich showroom, where we found lots of inspiration. Adam understood that we wanted a sleek, contemporary kitchen to utilise our limited space. We also wanted something great for informal entertaining beside the courtyard garden. Adam’s initial design was just what we were looking for. It included a large mirror on the back wall to reflect the garden. Whilst at the showroom, we also spotted a cocktail cabinet with an integrated fridge which we had to include!
