behind the scenes -
four of our favourite norfolk kitchens

29 May 2025

To give you an insight into the meticulous creative process behind our work, we’re taking a closer look at four of our favourite Norfolk kitchen projects.

NORWICH

radiant green handleless kitchen

Our clients were in the process of adding an extension to their Grade II listed cottage on the outskirts of Norwich when they decided to get in touch.

Their extension would leave them with a long, narrow space, which they planned to use for entertaining, so using every inch while making the most of their stunning garden view was our top priority.

We chose to use a seamless run of handleless cabinetry, as it minimised clutter and opened up the room. The contemporary style allowed us to get creative with a showstopping curved oak dining island, while the on-trend curved dining area in a warm wood finish softens the angular cabinetry, tempering the contrast between the age of the property and the modern decor. It also complements the narrow layout, giving the homeowners plenty of space for cooking and entertaining.

To evoke a heritage feel we picked Farrow & Ball’s tranquil Green Smoke and Studio Green, which added a sense of harmony with the outdoor area. A large mirror splashback reflecting the stunning view completes the design.

This radiant Norwich kitchen is totally at one with its surroundings, and, needless to say, our clients were head over heels for their new space.

CROMER

a family kitchen designed to impress

After collaborating on various projects over the past nine years, it was a pleasure to help our clients bring their own dream family kitchen to life.

They had always envisaged a characterful, classic design with a chic modern twist. This Caledonia in-frame kitchen painted in Fired Charcoal undoubtedly delivers.

Intricate beaded detailing, charming top boxes, elegant, glazed cabinets, and a simple mantle bring a sense of traditional grandeur to the space. This dramatic atmosphere continues with a bold colour scheme and statement triple fridge freezer.

Thanks to the natural light flooding in through the large sky lantern, the intense deep grey finish adds depth and contemporary sophistication without overwhelming the space.

We chose a brushed steel freestanding fridge to add a modern edge, bringing an informal, family-orientated quality to the design, and the cool, industrial pendant lights make the perfect finishing touch.

This breathtakingly stylish yet practical Cromer kitchen is simply ideal for family living.

KING'S LYNN

a modern masterpiece

We worked closely with our clients to create a design that would not only complement their practical needs, but would take their space to the next level.

A single seamless piece of furniture parallels the striking L-shaped chimney breast. Its minimalist form beautifully complements the clean-lined interior design.

The Black Metal Slate finish fuses the island with the polished concrete floor, contrasting wonderfully with the textural exposed brick wall. Impressively thin yet durable Dekton Kelya worktops in a matching slate finish complete its sleek profile. LED plinth lights subtly elevate the design, giving the island the illusion of floating just above the floor. This contemporary kitchen is quite simply spectacular. One of our client’s favourite features is the elegant, hidden glass draft extractor.

NORWICH

the perfect charming country kitchen

From one end of the scale to the other, this lovely traditional kitchen in Norwich epitomises country elegance and charm.

Our clients were looking for a graceful, classic interior with a homely feel. However, they also wanted something that would create a wow factor and leave a lasting impression. Accentuated by a stunning ceiling bulkhead with oak detailing, the vast island undeniably creates the grand statement our clients desired.

To ensure the design retained an elegant and inviting tone, we proposed painting the island in a delicate Light Grey. This subtle shade works wonderfully with the warm oak accents, establishing a refined and calming atmosphere.

A built-in bank of pantry units in a rich Mey Blue provides an opulent backdrop. It makes excellent use of the ample space, introducing plenty of valuable storage. As the island and pantry units offer so much storage, it made sense to keep the wall area around the mantle open. Instead, stylish oak shelves add lovely character while contributing to the bright and airy feel.

One feature we simply can’t overlook is the charming bespoke window seat. This thoughtful touch transforms the space into the ultimate sophisticated country kitchen.
